The Indian Council Scholarship for the academic session 2016-2017 has been declared. The Indian Council for Cultural Relations, Government of India, has declared the award of scholarships to meritorious Bangladeshi nationals for the academic session 2016-2017 to pursue courses in India at the Under Graduate, Post-Graduate and PhD level, except in Medicine.

The Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR, is an autonomous organization of the Government of India, involved in India’s external cultural relations, through cultural exchange with other countries and their peoples. It was founded on 9 April 1950 by Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, the first Education Minister of independent India.

Indian Council scholarships application form may be collected from the following addresses in Bangladesh-
Education Wing, High Commission of India, House No 2, Road No 142, Gulshan-1, Dhaka-1212, Assistant High Commission of India, Chittagong, and Assistant High Commission of India, Rajshahi Application forms may be collected on any working day (Sunday-Thursday) between 1100-1300 hrs and 1500-1700 hrs from 13 to 17 January 2013, upon submission of photocopy of mark sheet of the qualifying examination.
